South Feather Water & Power 566 Kilowatt High Performance Photovoltaic System
SPG Solar, Inc. (SPG) designed and built the high performance 566 kW DC photovoltaic system for the South Feather Water and Power District to produce the most energy possible. SPG took every opportunity to collect the maximum amount of sunlight and convert it to electricity.
The solar arrays are tilted at the optimum angle to collect the most sunlight on summer afternoons. The system's open supports allow the additional cooling effects of air movement.
